Wow, what a month. I’m sure glad to see the back of it, that’s for sure. Am also happy to report that is the last September/October of study I’ll do for a very long time! In just under a week, I’ll be finished my 23rd uni subject, meaning I’m just one subject short of finishing my degree! Yippee!
It was a ridiculously hectic month, so much so that it’s been a whole month since I last blogged. I had planned on being totally organised and scheduling blog posts, but as you can see, that didn’t happen! Just to give you an idea of how nuts it’s been, I’m running on four hours sleep after going to bed just after 3am this morning because I had TWO group assignments due today. What a nightmare. You can imagine how much I was loving my body when it woke of its own accord just before 7:30am, I’m sure. There were definitely a few bumps along the way in getting these assignments in, but they’re done and now I’m able to focus on the next two that are due, as well as preparing for my first market since March. Here’s a little look into one of the assignments I was working on – a precinct structure plan (which is also what I was kind of doing for the last 6 months of work placement).
This Sunday, you can find me at Huckleberry Market (Facebook event here). I love being a part of Huckleberry Market, Amy is one of the most wonderful market organisers I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I’ve also made some great friends too – Tania from Squiggle & Stitch, Bek from Sweet Bubba, Laura from Little Missy Mister, to name a few.
I’m going to have lots of fun playing with my stall set up, and will hopefully have some photos to share with you next week. For now, here’s a sneak peek into some things I’ve been working on this month gone by to keep me sane. Some of these products have been released already and are available from my madeit store. Just click the image below to take a look.
So there you have it, what’s been happening in my world for the last month. Tomorrow I’ll be doing some more preparation for Sunday, as well as trying to knock three assignments on the head. I wonder how successful I’ll be?
